On Friday, I went shopping at Tattersalls in Rutland and bought a new pair of mittens. The brand, Lost Horizon, is made in Tibet. They can be peeled back (thumbs too) so that the tips of my fingers are free to use the camera, jot down some notes or toast a marshmallow. They are super warm because they are lined with fleece. I wore them on Sunday when we walked down to our cabin site and cooked a picnic lunch over a fire and wished that this mythical cabin could build itself.
I know those gloves!!! And have a fond memory of a hot dog roast there a few years ago. Your blog is really fun to look at---you are very good with a camera and oh so clever in your writing.
